We stopped in Albuquerque on a road trip, and found this restaurant on Triple D, after seeing it driving around. Really funny looking, because you see the liquor store in front, before you realize there is a steak house attached. The steak house decor is classic dark bar/restaurant, with curved banquetts and tables. Staff really friendly, we each had a rib eye, potato, and salad. Well prepared, good food, funky, cool spot. Good value, good meal, very content customers.

Not the easiest place to enter, but once in, the staff and atmosphere were great. We ordered the Prime Rib and the Chili Hamburger. Both came out perfect, and were delicious. The Hamburger was special in that we never tasted a Hamburger with Green Chili's. Definitely a good stop when in Albuquerque.

This review is several years old: My wife and I, our first oppurtunity to check out a Triple D restaurant, was Monte Carlo, in Albuquerque, NM. Yes, it was funny walking through the liquor/beer store into the restaurant. We did not see the side entrance. Our goal was to try the "14oz All Pork Shish-Ka-Bob", shown to be marinated a number of days on Triple D. I woul pay $15 again. We also tried the speghetti; tasted like plain noodles and sauce. But, I need to go back for the Ka-Bob..
