After seeing this on "Best thing I ever ate" - I wanted to go - so I wrote it down months ago. Finally, yesterday my husband and I went to Caesar's Palace in search of Payard's. When we got to the counter we specifically asked the girl to give us what we saw on TV - what we ended up with was a little bag of 6 various color macarons. I didn't like them at all. In fact, we still have two of them sitting on our kitchen counter. They were sweet and sticky and really nothing special. My husband had pistachio ice cream which was just - ok. I wish they had directed us to the COFFEE MACARONS that were rated by Wolfgang Puck - because I specifically went there in 106 degree heat to try them. Needless to say I was very disappointed. But the place was very pretty and I would go back to the dining room instead for breakfast.
