    My sister & I went to The Redhead in October 2012. We both agreed that the Low Country Shrimp & Grits was one of the best things we ever ate. We are dying to get our hands on their recipe!

    We took our family--children and grandchildren--for a 5-day NYC vacation. This was our favorite restaurant. Good service, nice ambience and wonderful food. Between the eight of us, we ordered a wide variety: shrimps and grits, arugula salad, fried chicken, pretzels, bacon peanut brittle, ribs, steak, biscuits, shaved squash salad. The drinks from the bar had twists on traditional recipes (ex. thyme margaritas and were a hit with the older crowd. It was well worth the time and travel to find it.

    The fried chicken is the best! A great place for comfort food and a good drink.
