Food? Fabulous! Folks? Friendly! Service? Fantastic! We were on our way to the Mountain and arrived just as they were closing. When the guy behind the counter heard that we had driven all the way from Seattle intent on having lunch there, he said Wait a minute! and came out with two bags of food for us to take with. Wonderful biscuits and toppings and bacon. No charge. Wow.
So after our weekend at the Mountain, we drove back through Portland making sure to arrive well before closing time. We joined a happy crowd at a small space against the wall and ordered breakfast. We stayed longer than anyone else because we didn't want to leave a single crumb on the plate (Yes, it was that good!. Needless to say, we didn't have to eat again that day.
