After living in Philadelphia for 4 years, Marc Summers knows to go to Tony Luke's for the best Philly cheesesteaks in town. The savory cheesesteak is made with thin-sliced rib-eye steak and provolone. To finish it off, a ladleful of its special red gravy is poured on top.

Everything was great from the cheese steak without to the fries and the service! Cant wait to go back, and if you are the ballpark catching a PHILLIES game, the food there is just as good as the main restaurant.

We had one day in Philly and were excited to try a Philly Cheese Steak after watching a contest between Tony Luke's and Pat's. Since Tony Luke's was the easiest for us to find on Oregon Ave, we decided to try there. I must say we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The meat was blah, the bread soggy, all we could taste was the cheese whiz and the onions. The pizza fries we ordered were a soggy mess and we could not eat them. I was surprised after all the hype from the tv show to be served such inedible food. I have tasted better cheese steak at the hospital where I work. I can not in all honesty recommend Tony Luke's however this won't let me post this without at least one star.
