Fuel Cantina

Guy's trip to South Carolina was a "vacay" from Southern comfort food when he visited Fuel Cantina. Once a gas station, Fuel now boasts an eclectic patio with a Caribbean-inspired menu of spicy island flavors. Taste for yourself with the fiery jerk chicken sandwich or fall-apart pork tacos.

I went to Fuel for the first time last night and was extremely disappointed with the food. I had the ho cakes to start. hard as a rock, bland, and very dry. I had the jerk chicken (one of the featured items onDDD for an entree and could have had a better chicken sandwich at chick fil a. It lacked flavor, spice, and just about everything one would expect from jerk chicken, especially seeing how it was suppose to be made on the show. The only thing good was the French fries and the server. There is a cool outdoor area for drinks. Overall I'd say a good place to grab a beer, not a good place for food.

Tried the Ho Cakes that Guy raved about....he had every reason to. It has such a rich and spicy flavor that is balanced and addictive. The prices are really reasonable and staff is friendly and professional.
