I thought the food was really good. The appetizer I loved was the fried oysters with the green tomato relish!!!!! OMG to die for...the burgers were huge and juicy and the service was not bad; yes you have a wait because the place is packed...but that usually means good food....will be going again when I go visit my son at Fort Jackson.

I was travelling through the area, and wanted to try places we had seen on DDD - I read reviews about Pawleys before we went, and was a little scared to try it after reading mixed reviews. I am so glad we did! Both burgers, and fries and onion rings, that we tried were FABULOUS! Best burger I've had in a long time! Make sure you check the specials on the chalkboard - after eating, I saw a couple things on there I would've loved to have tried! We got there at 3:00 in the afternoon and the place was packed!

I thought it was excellent!! We had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and it was possibly the best appetizer I've ever had. Then we had burgers which were juicy, delicious and fresh! I'm very happy we got to go and taste!! Would definitely recommend.
