Not what I am accustomed to for a drive-in. It's old, but it has character. Terrific hush puppies, good prices. Chilicheeseburger was decent, pulled pork the same, the fries and onion rings were awesome...smelling. We were watching our calories, lol.

Fulllfilling! Do not come here if you were looking for a sushi bar on the way back to Ashville. But for a great fast food experience and really good food, which in my humble opinion, includes the grease that fries the food, this is hard to duplicate. My last timee here, however, was back in 1997, and the cashier was John hisself. I had him autograph my receipt and submitted a copy with my expense report, since I did bring the entire Union Camp bag plant personnel with me. Next time I get anywhere close to this place, I with eat what I can put down and order heavy to go. A fun place!!!!!

Not what we expected,my family and i where heading back to tennessee after a vacation in myrtle beach,we decided to stop at the Beacon and try it out,big mistake.they should renamed the catch phrase from a plenty to a greasy, the food wasnt anything special,ho hum burgers and greasy fries and onion rings, plus the blandest fried chicken ive ever had in my life, and the place wasnt appealing to the eye, sorry Guy,but this place should have been on diners drive ins and dumps.
