The Pizza Palace is a drive in- Pizza place. How many of those you going to find in America? It is a fun experience. The Pizza is good. The chef salad- and thousand Island dressing is huge. The onion rings are great. This is an old Knoxville tradition. Go to the Knoxville Zoo which is nearby and then stop here for lunch.

My husband and I tried it after seeing it on the show. The food was horrible. The onion rings were doughy and bland. The meat sauce on the spaghetti looked and tasted more like chili. The pizza crust was undercooked. We were very disappointed after driving an hour to get there.

We were really looking forward to stopping here after watching the show. Expectatons were high... I must say the wait staff was very unfriendly. We went in to order and felt very uncomfortable while our food was prepared. Pizza was just OK and onion rings were bland. Don't think we would go out of our way again on way back to NC.
