If you're going to talk about Loveless Cafe, you begin with the late Carol Fay. Known worldwide as the "Biscuit Lady," Carol made biscuits good enough for a Bobby Flay throwdown. Beyond biscuits, try Southern classics like fried chicken and catfish. Nearly 400,000 visitors a year can't be wrong.

I wish there was another star on the rating chart to give this restaurant. My wife and I have traveled to Nashville 5 times, and have had 7 meals at the Loveless Cafe. Everything, and I do mean everything is good. The fried chicken is hands down the most wonderful thing that anyone has ever put in front of me. Country ham, hash brown casarol, vegies, pork chops, sooooo good!
The wait, and there will be a wait, is well worth it! Expect an hour or so on the weekends.
