I caught the segment on DDD's and made a note to visit the next time we went to the Houston area. Well, we went today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered blackened fish and the sausage sandwich. Both were delicious! We even purchased extra sausage to bring home. We left with carry outs cause we could not eat all the food. We also tried the armadillo eggs! Again delicious! The waitress brought us a combination of armadillo and shark eggs. Both were tasty but our favorite was the shark eggs! Service was great! We will definitely go back!!

First we ordered the Armadillo Eggs, and the Shark Bites as an appetizer/starter. The Armadillo Eggs were pretty tasty (BBQ Brisket stuffed in a pickled jalapeno, battered and fried dipped in the ranch dressing. The Shark bites were Crab and Shrimp stuffed in a pepper and fried the same way. Pretty tasty, too. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and the homemade sausage to try. The homemade sausage was tasty and a just a little spicy. The brisket was on the dry side, and not very flavorful. The pulled pork was just ok, but was moist. I have definitely had better! My husband ordered the DDD Tom's choice Steak house steak (marinated and grilled Ribeye. It was a great cut of meat, cooked correct as ordered, and it was juicy. It was not the best steak by any means, but it was decent at $26.00 for the dinner. All in all, it was a good experience. The service was pretty friendly, and it was kept very clean. I would go back.
