Babe's is *legendary* in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and the one in Roanoke is the best. Agree that if you're looking for good southern cooking, Babe's has got to be a 'go-to'!

The fried chicken is AMAZING, but my hubby's favorite thing at Babe's is the fried catfish (not available at all locations! Our son LOVES the chicken fried steak. The veggies are outstanding and swimming in butter. The desserts... oh my goodness... the desserts are fabulous! If you're looking for healthy food, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for the best southern food ever, then you have to try Babe's (locations all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
