Owner Helen Velesiotis may be Greek, but she knows how to cook up some "real-deal" Mexican food. Guy was skeptical about trying the Tacos de Lengua, which are beef tongue tacos. But after his first bite he was hooked on the dynamite flavor. Guy also enjoyed the shredded-chicken fried puffy tacos.

Where's the beef? Not in my taco!!!
Our waitress disappeared, never got a refill.
Pico de gallo tasted old, food was bland.
    Won't be eating there again.

Muy mal. My wife and I were al excited to go visit the place that has been designated as the "best tacos in the us". What a let down. The food was not that good. I can make better tacos at home. The service was not that friendly either. I don't even get why this restaurant was highlighted. Did I miss something? Guy, you need to try Guajillos in San Antonio.

My husband and I went there today after visiting Trinity University. I got a cup of tortilla soup with a beef puffy taco and my husband got the Migas plate. Very unimpressed. Everything tasted bland and dull; no seasoning what so ever. To top it off the hamburger meat in taco wasn't even fully cooked. Tortilla was good but nothing special. Service wasn't great either! Definitely won't be returning. Get better service and food at Pappasito's restaurant chain.
