I used to live in San Antonio and this restaurant is Top Notch!!!! The chicken fried steak is huge and always great!!! Also had liver and onions that were very good!!

Best onion rings in town!! I bring all my friends that visit San Antonio to Tip Top for the onion rings as well as other tasty items on the menu. Delicious home cookin'. Chicken fried steak is one of the best as well as the burgers and classic fried chicken. But the best item on the list are those golden friend rings of tasty onion-ness! Breaded and fried to perfection and the onions stay firm or al dente. My only criticism is the operating hours, they close pretty early, around 8pm, so I recommend getting there early and prepare to wait, the place can get pretty crowded. Although it's totally worth it!
