This place is always busy, takes staff a long time to get things or refill drinks. I have been going here since collage and it's never changed!! However that being said, the food is outstanding, stay with the burgers cause they rock!! Prices are very reasonable too!! What for summer cause its cold up there in the winter!!!

Anchor Bar 10/20/12. We entered the bar. Place was busy. Bartender and waitress looked right at us and looked a way. They never offered us a spot or if there was a waiting list. We saw an open spot a the bar. We sat down and waited 15 mins until somebody asked us what we wanted to drink and eat. It took 45 to an hour to receive our food. While we were waiting for our food, my bf and i were drinking. My bf finished his beer, they didn't ask to refill it. He went the entire meal without any thing to drink. The sad part was they knew his mug was empty. The bartender and the waitresses looked at it walked past it at least 3 to 4 times. The bartender was constantly on his phone.
Service here is horrible.I didn't leave a tip they did'nt deserve it. I was very disappointed, I thought it would be a great place to visit on our vacation after seeing it on DDD on foodnetwork. Staff was rude, inattentive, and not willing to help.Burgers were good and bill was cheap but I will never go back.

A group of us from a Hockey team stopped on Saturday, September 29 for lunch. The service was poor and the waitress and bar tender were rude to all of us. Food was ok. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
