It’s childhood foods all grown up as Paula goes back in time and shows how kids’ treats can be transformed into adult fare. Paula cooks with candy bars and makes a dessert with chocolate cream-filled cookies. She goes back to her hometown to learn how peppermint is made, and then uses those candies to make peppermint bark. She makes "turtle pizza" (with nuts, caramel, chocolate) in a salute to the candy she loved as a child.
