Postcards

Greg, his daughter Grae and their friend Mo make up Postcards from Los Angeles.

Postcards

Greg, the cook of the operation, specializes in soul food creations. He prepares chicken and collard greens tacos for Tyler's first challenge, which will test the team's salesmanship.

Postcards

The team's Beloved Taco includes shredded chicken and collard greens.

Postcards

Grae and Greg attempt to rally customers on the Santa Monica Pier, hoping to sell the most of their signature dishes. They don't win, but they've made enough seed money to get them to their first stop.

Postcards

All of the teams head to Lake Havasu City, Ariz., where Tyler challenges them to sell a fish and chips special to honor London Bridge.

Postcards

Greg tries to knock out some of the orders for the special, a Southern-seasoned fish on a tostada, served with mac and cheese and collard greens.

Postcards

The team finds that its original location at the Bassmaster Fishing Tournament isn't working out, so the team takes a spot near London Bridge, which works out better.

Postcards

The team captures a fun selfie moment at the end of the day, celebrating coming in second place in sales for the first weekend of the race.

Postcards

In Flagstaff, Ariz., Tyler surprises the teams with a new challenge, one that will have them selling a cowboy delicacy that they must sell without their trucks.

Postcards

Greg grills the rattlesnake-and-rabbit sausages, which he's serving in a wrap with mac and cheese and collard greens.

Postcards

After making as many sales as they can, the team members pay the chef who created the sausages and head back to the truck. Unfortunately the team lands in the bottom three at the end of the weekend.

Postcards

Moving on to Santa Fe, N.M., the team wins a chile-cooking challenge with its dish of Southern chicken and apple sausage soup with cornbread. With $1,000 added to the till, the team is well-off — until a surprise incident.

Postcards

Unfortunately Mo grazes a car while trying to parallel park the truck. Greg decides to find a new spot, and Grae worries their lead will count for nothing, so she hustles up sales. Tyler ends up docking them $500.

Postcards

Challenged with making a steak special in Amarillo, Texas, Greg finds making his Southern-fried steak takes longer than he expected, and the team ends up losing a lot of impatient customers.

Postcards

On their second day in Texas, the team members try to make up for slow sales the day before, but a Speed Bump challenge forces Greg to run the truck alone. Unfortunately the team is eliminated for having the lowest sales.
