Adam cooks up a batch of the team's Liège waffles, their signature dish, to sell to customers on the Santa Monica Pier as part of Tyler's first challenge.

In Santa Fe, N.M., Tyler has the teams sell as much of their dishes as they can without restocking. He later challenges the teams to a head-to-head sales challenge at the local farmers market.

Jared's idea for a grilled cheese waffle brings in the customers, but at the end of the day, sales crawl and Steven tries to wrangle up customers. Surprisingly, Waffle Love finishes in first place.

In Amarillo, Texas, the boys decide to go to church before opening Sunday, letting their rivals gain a head start. Tyler calls the guys out for not taking the steak challenge seriously. They drop to second place.

In Tulsa, Tyler puts the teams' marketing skills to the test by taking away their access to social media. Instead they must talk up potential customers at the local drive-in movie theater.

The Waffle Love guys seemed to have done the trick. Whether it's because of their charm or their delectable waffles, the guys get the longest line and earn first place for the weekend.

Going into the finale the two teams face a barbecuing challenge that has them cooking three dishes. Unfortunately, Adam takes it all on himself, and the team loses an advantage to Pho Nomenal.

Lagging behind, the guys have a tough time selling their dishes tailored to Chicago's ethnic neighborhoods. The Pho girls, on the other hand, have no trouble until Tyler turns them back for making a big mistake.

With the last shred of hope, the guys hustle and are able to meet the challenge, and head to the finish line to meet Tyler. Unfortunately, the Pho Nomenal girls beat them to the chase. The win was just that close.
