When she’s not standing dreamily by an open fridge eating slices of cheddar generously dressed with salad cream, Sarah Jappy spends her time wondering (optimistically) exactly how much pork belly it’s advisable for one single female to consume, waiting for someone to bring her a cup of tea and writing down words – hopefully in a nice order – for a variety of brands, from Food Network to LUXE City Guides to Mr & Mrs Smith. She’s pretty much a professional eater and drinker, having worked for Time Out Melbourne as their Food & Drink Editor (#smashedavo; #somanycocktails); these days, she also divides her time between biscuits, her cockapoo puppy Toto and the rigorous demands of freelance life in London (wondering when to get dressed and what pyjamas to wear).
