    Ate here about a month ago. Friends told me about this place. Some of the biggest & best fried oysters, & the gumbo & jambalaya mixed was awesome together. Will definetely be eating here again. Also had the pecan pie.. OMG... delic.

    We discovered this restaurant years ago when it was in Monrovia, a town even smaller than Mooresville. it's about a 40 minute drive for us, but well worth the effort. Carter's food is as good as any food I've had in Nawlins. Deb is the ultimate hostess, always having a smile. My favorite is the catfish with crawfish on top. My daughter goes for the shrimp PoBoy. The oyster PoBoy is another fave of mine. My husband likes anything that is hot and spicy and many dishes that he likes. We just recently got back from Nawlins (Super Bowl and Mardi Gras but Zydecos is our go to place. YUMMMMMMY
