This was good, not great. I'm not sure if I liked the texture of the cooked bacon or not and I think next time I will crisp it and then add it at the end, or sprinkle the top with it. I deglazed with a 6 year balsamic after the onion and garlic cooked to give it a bit more sweetness, and added some thyme. Will make again with some modifications. I did appreciate how economical this dish was!
    Thanks!

I also made this recipe right after watching the show since all of the ingredients are pantry regulars. I don't like spicy food, so I just used a can of regular chopped tomatoes and it was wonderful. I let it simmer in the chicken broth/tomatoes a little longer than she suggested since I had the time, but that's the only change I made to her instructions.

I was just about to go out grocery shopping when I saw Rachel prepare this dish on her show. I thought it looked delcious and it was something this single live alone man can make. Wow! Not only was it easy and fun to prepare, bt what a wonderful satisfying dish for my dinner last night and even better reheated today for lunch. It was easy to make and just so tasty. If you have a craving for something a little spicy and something that will work like comfort food, this is it! Thanks for the wonderful recipe Rachel!

After watching Rachael make this dish this AM, I couldn't wait to make it for dinner. This was an easy, delicious pasta dish that was high on flavor but quick and easy to prepare. My husband said it was a definite "make again" and even my kids (ages 22 months and 4 years enjoyed. Great job Rachael!

I made this for a late lunch/early dinner immediately after seeing this episode!!! It was VERY simple to make. Lots of flavor without going overboard. I will make this again, it's so easy!!! We <3 RR!
