The prep time was about a half hour. It also took about 27 minutes to bake properly. There wasn't enough topping. The flavor was pretty good, but I have found better apple crisp recipes on here.

Love it! I've been looking for this recipe for years. Kept finding recipes that were close but not quite like I remember grandma's apple crisp. This is it!

Oh my gosh, delicious and sooo easy. Simple ingredients, but restaurant quality tasting dessert! It was so good. A recipe keeper! Thanks Rachael!

I made this recipe with what I had on hand using apples, peaches, plums, and blueberries to help me perk up a cold, damp and dreary day while I watched a football game. I used a medium size oval casserole dish and the smells from the oven were wonderful and the taste was out of this world delicious! Very easy to make and can't wait to make it again.

This recipe was quite a bit dryer than I had hoped. The flavors were good, but the crispy, sticky textures in a crisp I'm use to were just not there.

Very tasty and simple as, well, apple pie! Baked it for the first time for our book club and everyone loved it! Topped it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. As suggested by others, I doubled the portion for the topping and it was perfect! Have already shared the recipe with two friends who asked for it. Will definitely make again. Thank you!
