This recipe is great. I've been making it for years now. I make it and then when we sit down for the meal, I put it in the oven to bake. The house smells amazing. When the meal is done, the crisp is ready to come out of the oven. I top it with a scoop of premium vanilla ice cream.

Absolutely delicious and ridiculously easy. This apple crisp is much simpler and less time consuming to make than an apple pie, and the truth is it's often better than most apple pies I've made. Definitely a "must have" for any recipe box!

This is a great recipe for a few reasons: it's easy, quick, dry ingredients are probaly in your cupboard, and best of all YUMMY! I love this recipe. I have been making this for about 4 years, it's my favorite.

I made this today, but I used red delicious apples. I also added a small handfull of chopped walnuts to the top, and Instead of cinnamon and nutmeg I added about 1.5 tsp of pumpkin pie spice! It was great!!! Thanks Rachael!

Absolutly delicious. The only thing is i had to make 5 times the amount of topping she made, i made a 9 x 13 pan though to serve for many people.

This is excellent! I needed a smaller amount so I used less apples and kept everything else the same.Excellent, fast and easy!
