Rachel made a salad dressing using orange marmalade (she said any preserve would do and I did not write down the amounts - i.e. did she use balsamic? Tried one and liked it but would like her recommendations as she mentioned something about raspberry and balsamic
    Thanks for the show~~

I just watched this episode, and noticed a few mistakes in the mac 'n' cheese recipe. For the sauce, Rachael uses 2 tbsp of flour, not 1, and uses 1 1/2 cups of milk, not 2. That should definitely thicken up the sauce a bit!

I made the pork chops without the Mac and Cheese. I find some of Rachel's sweet and savory dishes too sweet. Knowing this, I only used 2 tablespoon of maple syrup. After searing the pork chops, I poured the sauce over them and finished it in the oven. It came out really juicy and my husband asks me to make it over and over again.

I had pulled a pckg of chops from my freezer and was trying to decide how to prepare them when this show came on. Rachel to the rescue! My family loved the chops and apple sauce. Unfortunately, my chops were boneless and 1 1/2" thick. I will never buy boneless again. They were ok, but the apple topping saved them. They were also too thick and took twice as long to cook as the recipe allocated. (There is no way the chops in Rachel's picture are 1 1/2" thick. Next time I will buy 1" as I feel the longer you cook them, the more they dry out. I disagree with one's review of the maple syrup being too sweet and must wonder if she used an imitation brand. I will definitly make the apple sauce again. Thanks rach!

The pork chops and apples were delicious but the pasta was horrible, something I hope never have to eat again.

I have had several variations of this same recipe and have yet to find one or taste one any better in a restaurant. It's my wife's favorite and suprisingly easy to make. Make sure to pay attention to the pork chops as they are easy to overcook in this recipe with all of the other things you have going on simultaneously.

Loved it. Apple topping was a good touch, but in the future I will probably go without it because of time.
