This was my first attempt at cooking broccoli rabe. Easy and delicious.....much better than any I have ordered in any restaurant. I did make two changes to the recipe though. I simmered slivered garlic in with the broccoli rabe and deglazed the sausage pan with a little chicken broth. I loved every bite. Thanks, Rachel.

Okay, I cheated a little. I added fire-roasted tomatoes to this recipe and it was FABULOUS! With a little shredded parmesan on top (oh yeah, added that too. It was fast and I may never eat grown-up broccoli again. But the tomatoes added enough juice to sop up with a piece of garlic parmesan french bread. Did I not mention I added the bread? My bad.

This is a very tasty and easy dish to prepare. I've made it several times now. I always put mine on top of mashed potatoes and it is always excellant! This time my grocer only had mild ground sausage available so I sprinkled Goya Adobo seasoning w/lemon pepper (yellow cap, salt and pepper on the sausage while it was cooking. My husband said it was the best broccoli rabe I've made yet! Thank you Rachel Ray for all you do and the wonderful recipes you create.

Really good! So easy! First time I made it, I used mild sausage, but this time I'm using hot & sweet. Of course, being a garlic lover, I add a couple cloves once the sausage is cooked. Next time I'll toss in some white beans and cooked pasta.

I made this and also the That's Shallota Flavor Spaghetti. It was just ok on it's own and no better when mixed in with the spaghetti. I won't be making either one again.

This recipe is great, pairs really well with Rachel's "That's Shallota Flavor Spaghetti", but would probably be a really good side with just about any pasta dish like Lasagna, Baked Ziti, etc.

Made this for the first time last night, and also thought there would be leftovers. Wrong! Delicious and very easy dish to prepare. I did make a couple of amendments. I added some minced garlic to the sausage, and added in some chopped sun-dried tomatoes towards the end of cooking. Also, to have some broth for the pasta, I added in about 2/3 cup of chicken broth and about a half cup or so of white wine and cooked that down a little. Pour the whole thing over a big bowl of pasta and you've got a real winner!

Today is my second time making this dish. The first time, my family really loved it! I made it along with the Shallota Spaghetti. This time I didn't have the parmesan cheese so I used cheddar and jack. Then I mixed the Brocolli Rabe into the Shallota Spaghetti (which I made again too. The two together are even more delicious. I love them both, especially since they are soooo easy!!
