    The best thing about the dish is the simplicity, but that is what you get a very simple dish. Nothing creative or tasty about it.

    The sausage made the broccoli rabe GREASY! I think using vegetarian sausage, like the prior poster, would yield a better dish.

    This was delicious and easy. I always thought that brocolli rabe was too bitter, but it's not when cooked this way.

    My boyfriend is a vegetarian, so we used veggie sausage and it was good. Although, I can see how real sausage would be very good.

    You should think of this dish as sausage with a little bit bit of rabe, but it's still a side dish. Great suggestion Rachael. Thank you.
