We only made the cabbage salad. The vinegar was overpowering and we did not even use as much as it called for. It did not really even taste like cabbage. I would not try this again.

I thought this meal was great. I didn't do the scallops..just the steak and cabbage. My husband has asked me to make it again this week. Thanks Rachel!

I love napa cabbage. This meal killed it. My daughter loved the beef and spouse loved the scallops but we ended up dumping all the salad. Flavors were just to strange all together. Would not recommend this to anyone. !

sea scallops are so sweet and delicious, they don't need all the STUFF ON THEM, the sesame oil overpowered the scallops and made them bitter. with these expensive scallops, less is really more. ray is not good at the understated.

For a simple meal this is great. Nice and spicy. I had pork cubes instead of beef. An easy dish to make with minimum ingredients and time. I also added some boiled potatoes. The meal without the scallops was sufficient. For the sauce I mixed a chinese sweet chili sauce (Mae Ploy with a Jalape?o hot sauce and the lime juice and vinegar. Result was perfectly sweet-sour and tangy.

This was a really fun recipe to make. It did take a bit to get it all put together, but not bad. The flavors are wonderful. My husband and I loved it. It is really important to dry the scallops.
