I too should have read the reviews first. Horrible recipe. I had to add at least another 1/2 C. of milk and a little canola oil to get the batter even remotely close to the consistency it called for. The the batter had been stirred so much it broke down and produced a chewy, tough pancake. Do not recommend.

Was going to give it a 2.5 but it would not let me. Overall they were okay. There was not that melt in your mouth sensation like some pancakes have. My daughter found them to be cakey. We had to add extra milk and we used half the butter of which the recipe said to use. I would honestly not make this recipe again. However, the blueberry sauce by Nigella Lawson was very good and very simple to do.

The first time I made these they were a little thick but kept adding the milk and didn't bother with the blueberries. I've made them a few more times and I am getting the hang of it. Now I've switched up the recipe a little by half milk and half light buttermilk. Gives that slight buttermilk flavor which I like better than the original recipe (a little bland for my taste.

First time making blueberry pancakes with my son and this turned out horrible. These pancakes were thick and I had to keep adding milk. I wasted my blueberries and other ingredients. Yuck!!!

...but once you do that (and it says so in the recipe you should be fine. I thought they turned out well, they cooked up nicely (didn't even have to throw the first ones out!

Made these pancakes EXACTLY per the recipe. I wish I had read the reviews first but I trusted this site to not list a bad recipe. WAY too much flour ratio to milk, had to add double the milk and by the time I did, the mixture had to be stirred too much causing the pancakes to be super tough. This was the WORST recipe I've ever found on this site. I love this site but will now read reviews prior to testing another as now I don't trust their endorsing recipes.
Such a shame, such a HUGE waste of ingrediants!

Okay my rating on directions: one star!
Rating on outcome including tast, texture, etc.: five stars!
Yes, if you have a sweet tooth like me then you will love this. But i must admit i did have to add more milk and did have trouble whisking the eggs into the flour??
(didn't make any sense but over all the pancakes came out fuffly and cooked through. If i was one of the people who controlled this website i would take down this recipe fix the measurements and definately the directions! If that were to happen this recipe would be perfect! (: definately going to make this again though, with my own adjustments of course.

So thick I couldnt wisk in the eggs and had to add a good extra cup of milk and is was still hard to cook the pancakes all the way thru without burning outside of pankcakes. Pick a different recipe. Not worth hassle.

The measurements of this recipe are quite inaccurate. You have to add a substantial amount of extra liquid to even make the pancakes. Once cooked. they were not great. I have had much better blueberry pancakes and will not use this recipe again. As per a previous comment, I should have read the reviews first!
