I agree with the first comment. This recipe calls for too much flour. Adding more milk (almost twice as much solved the problem. I also used browned butter and they were amazing.

Way too much flour!! I will not use again or the foodnetwork recipes. They need to test / verify recipes before posting! Such a waste of time and ingredients! Big mess.

Our family loves blueberry pancakes, and I have tried many different recipes in the past. This is the best, and I make it not only for family but also for guests and special occasions.

I add more milk to the batter. I haven't measured the amount, but I just keep stirring it in a tablespoon at a time until the batter is the consistency I prefer.

This recipe is very easy and filling. Even my husband that he is not a pancake lover likes them! add some white chocolate chips and it comes out even better!

Since all the good reviews said to use more milk..... I used 1 cup of half and half. Then I poured 1/2 cup of water in the empty 1/2&1/2 container ( We are snowed in & out of everything, shook it up and added. The pancakes do not even need syrup!

If I would have read the reviews I probably would not have made these pancakes and missed out on a delicious treat! I'll admit I started to panic after trying to mix the egg/flour, and you need to add a lot more milk than the recipe calls for. In the end, the pancakes turned out great! I noticed that some of them seemed doughy so I put them in the oven at 175 degrees while I cooked up the rest of the batter and it seemed to finish them off perfectly! I will use this recipe each time I make pancakes!

Should have read the reviews prior to attempting this recipe but was in a hurry. By far the worst pancakes I've ever had.

I just made these for my family on Christmas morning. I agree, the recipe needs to be modified; I used 1 cup of milk and about 1/2 cup half and half. I also added a teaspoon of cinnamon and a 1/2 tsp more of salt and they came out great with both blueberries and chocolate chips.

This recipe does not call for enough milk. I made these and the outside came out charred while the center was still gooey. Follow a different recipe and just add blueberries yourself.
