I loved the filling, I thought that boiling it in the pierogi blanded it too much and the suggested thickness was too thick, but next time I am just going to put the filling over noodles the flavor was outa this world good... I had extra filling and put it on top of the pierogis it solved the problem... yummmmm! Very filling.

I probably should've tried these elsewhere to know what to expect. After the labor that was put into this I was just a little disappointed with the flavor. I guess I should have realized this considering I'm not the biggest sour cream fan. But all in all it wasn't bad.

Took me awhile to make, but it was well worth the time! I fried the pierogies after boiling to make them a little crisp. I really like the paprikash and I look forward to using it with noodles or making it into a casserole.

Two of my all time favorites (pierogies and chicken paprikash combined into one! Why didn't I ever think to do this!?! I've only made the filling, (as I have my own sour cream pierogi dough that I prefer, and the filling is absolutely divine and quite versatile. This makes an excellent pierogi filling but I like it even better over buttered dumplings or kluski noodles or egg noodles. I like the lasagna idea mentioned in a previous review and will have to try that as well. This filling is so good that I have morphed this recipe with my family's traditional chicken paprikash recipe.

Instead of using the dough/pierogi's, I made the filling and layered in a pan with lasagna noodles. Reheats well and serves many. Does take awhile to make, but absolutely worth it!

While I was making these, I thought they wouldnt be that good. But they were very good. My picky eater husband loved them. Now when I make them, I put whatever I want inside.

I only used the dough recipe, used
a different filling. The dough worked
well make sure to not roll out to thin.
    1/4" works well

The cooking part was long and involved, but the end result was well worth it...

This were a huge hit. They were relatively easy to make & the dough held up really well. Unlike some doughs, it did not separate while boiling & sealed easy. The filling was absolutely divine. I have already made these twice this month. This is a new family favorite
