Ingredients
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/4 cup liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup, plus 2 tablespoons molasses
Directions
Puree onions and celery. In a large sauce pot combine the puree and the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
