Never made fried green tomatoes before. These were very crispy and tasty. Will make again!

Love the flying biscuit, and this recipe did not disappoint!!! Although the proportions for the wash and cornmeal mix is rather large for only 4 green tomatoes. I would recommend halving the milk/egg wash... In addition, probably don't need 1.5cups of floor to dredge the tomatoes in before the wash.... again, you will be wasting a lot of flour. As far as the fried green tomatoes themselves, they turned out amazing, I will definitely use this recipe again. I skipped the cashew relish and used ranch dressing, so can't speak for that part of the recipe. Overall, it hit the spot!

I have not made these yet, but I couldn't believe that the recipe was here on the Food Network. I have had these at the Flying Biscuit Cafe in North Carolina and asked the waiter for the recipe. He basically told us what was in it, but no amounts of each ingredient. These were soooooooooo good. The relish was delish also. I won't use quite as much Jalapeno pepper in it when I make it, it was a little spicy for my taste. Can't wait to make these and I hope they come out as good when I make at home.

Depending on your childhood and family's kitchen...... Good flavor and texture. Try this and share with others that you know had eaten this food as a child. Bottom line...we have another recipe and it depends on US to determine if we will ever eat it again. Yes!

These are some of the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had. A great combination with the goat cheese and the relish. Good at the restaurant but even better when you make it at home and can tweak it to your personal tastes.

I was always looking for a recipe for green tomatoes and it stopped here! The topping is great and a wonderful combination with the goat cheese. My family has asked me to make it again this summer and are out searching for green tomatoes for me.

I liked that this didn't require any special ingredients. I was able to use ingredients I had in the cupboard already.
