First off I love these grits... simple and yum yum. I didnt use the pimentos though and decreased the pepper. If you are ever in Durham go to Elmo's. Duke Unveristy is just down the road. Family friendly and a really diverse menu. I LOVE the veggie grilled cheese and the blueberry crumb cake.

The recipe is great if you love grits. It does indeed provide the amount of grits to use--1 cup. Please read more carefully before giving a recipe a poor rating so that others aren't needlessly put off trying something new .
