No flavor at all! Will never make these again. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they were crispy.

This is by far the best waffle recipe I have found. I have to make this 4x over so we have extra for the freezer to eat during the week. I holds well in a gallon ziplock, and reheats in the oven/toaster oven.

Everyone I have ever made these for have gone completely insane over how great they are! My brother says they taste better than funnel cakes, and the kids become very excited when they see me get the waffle iron out!

They were a HUGE hit at breakfast!!! I had 5 people to feed, so I doubled the recipe, and it was just enough. What it calls for only makes about 2 waffles. And, I used half buttermilk and half 1 percent. They were fantastic. One of the best waffles I've ever eaten. And, despite what the recipe says, DO grease the iron. Or they'll stick, believe me.

These waffles truly were insanely great. They took very little time to mix up, and had a great balance of crunch outsides with chewy insides. The vanilla was a lovely touch.

I made these for Father's Day and my husband said that they were my best waffles yet!! I did add whole wheat pastry flour and I used melted butter instead of the oil. I doubled the recipe and I still didn't have enough! I think I will triple the recipe next time.

I have been looking for the perfect waffles just like the ones in our favorite restaurant at home and I think these are pretty darn close. YUMMMMM!! My family loved them. I served them with sweet potato butter and butter pecan syrup. Even without the toppings they would have been delicious. They came out light and airy. I only wish I had a belgium waffle maker that would make them even better.

This is by far the best waffle recipe I have ever used. I had 1% milk on hand, so that is what I used. The waffles are light and fluffy. Will never buy boxed mix again.

I loved how light and airy the waffles came out. I am not a fan of really thick, dense waffles. Butter and syrup were great on them, but leftover cream cheese frosting from Bobby Flay's Throwdown Cupcake episode made them even more decadent.

Easiest waffle recipe: You do not have to separate white and yolks--Just mix, let set for 30 minutes, and pour. This recipe is also flexible. We have used milk (whole or lowfat and buttermilk. We have added oats, bran, and raisins to make bran waffles. We have used corn bread mix for flour to make corn bread waffles. We also substitute sucralose (Slenda for the sugar. Note: To make a desert waffle, add extra sugar or sucralose. You will not be disappointed with this recipe.
