I was skeptical because thought they would be oily tasting. Wrong!!! They were very easy to put together and tasted great. A keeper.

Excellent waffles. I love that you don't have to beat egg whites to make them. I always use buttermilk, substitute melted butter for the vegetable oil, and let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

This is a great waffle. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. I used FF milk and it tasted fine. But, I'm wondering if they would have been even fluffier if i used regular milk; as it was they busted out of my belgium waffle maker! I will make these again and again for sure!

Crispy outside, delicate inside. Lacking the milk, I used thinned cream, and mixed in toasted pecan chunks just before cooking. The wife made happy eating noises.

For some time I have been looking for a GREAT waffle recipe. And when I found this, my search ceased.

When I made this I used whole milk and butter instead of oil because research on the waffle topic had indicated that for crisper waffles, that was what was needed.

The waffles turned out beautifully and I could not wait to taste them and share them with my fiance. He's a picky eater, particular about his waffles and he enjoyed them and said the receipe was a keeper.

If they have been in a baggy for storage, lightly TOAST them TO REHEAT them. It is almost like they had just come off the waffle iron!

While I enjoy this recipe, I will be experimenting with low fat spreads like Smart Balance to see how it compares.

I followed the recipe to the T. My waffles were not fluffy. They ended up with a waxy appearance. I was dissappointed.

This is the best waffle recipie out there! I have tried them all, whipping egg white and all in hopes of a great waffle. They have all been good but the fact that this recipie can be thrown together quickly is definatally a plus. Waffles come out with a perfect crumb.
