    These waffles tasted good, but they came out completely flat. I don't know if my waffle maker doesn't work well, or if it's the batter???

    These waffles carry the expression you get what you work for and what you pay for very well - these are very easy and therefore the results aren't there for me. However, I have found waffles to be a food where not everyone in a group will have the same preference. I like a bit more bite to mine than this recipe provides - they were just too light and airy for me. And then everyone is using a different waffle iron as well - so results can certainly vary. I'd not recommend this recipe to anyone.

    I've been looking for the perfect waffle for sunday morning and have tried many. This seems unusual when I read it but THIS IS THE ONE!! try it!!
    Sunday morning will never be the same.

    These were good waffles. I will not argue that. I thought this particular recipe was too heavy and oily for my taste. Good, not great.

    My girlfriend and I could not wait for the next waffle to come off the iron. We ate the whole batch in the kitchen next the waffle iron.

    I was very skeptical about this recipe and would probably not have tried it if not for the other reviews. These turned out to be the easiest and best waffles I have ever made. Sorry James Beard, but this is my new standard. I will never whip egg whites for waffles again!

    I can't remember the last time I made waffles! These were perfect! Super light, cripy, texture and tasted great! The batter was so thin, I'm glad I read the other reviews before I made it, so I didn't worry about it. You gotta try these.

    These waffles could not be easier to make and taste better! My family loved them. I have made every kind of waffle, from a mix to beating egg whites at 7:00am. What a relief to find a wonderful recipe that was a sinch to make! I would double the recipe if you are feeding a hungry group though.
