Not good. Don't waste your time. Worst waffles ever.
I followed the recipe exactly. Runny batter that barely rises. No taste.

Yeah, pretty much a rock star waffle. I got a little naughty and added cooked bacon to the batter on the iron. Truly insane!

You have no idea! My six year old son helped make these and they were so easy. Also the crunchiest, tenderest & most flavorful waffle I have ever had (I have a cheap old 2nd hand waffle maker & it doesn't matter!. These are Waffles of Insane Greatness!

WOW to the WOW! This is the best waffle recipe ever! Crispy, moist and so very yummy. Just be sure and make a double batch and freeze remaining waffles as you will crave them again soon. Yummy

Did a full tsp Vanilla and 1/8 sugar- after noting some thought they were "flavorless. Let them sit 30 minutes, poured the entire mixture on my Cuisinart Belgian Waffle iron, which I had set to the higest setting.
They were a bit overcooked, flavor was good, but they were dense/ cakey in the middle and a little crisp on the outside... kinda chewy. Best thing was flavor and slight crunch. Otherwise I shall continue my search... Will Try Alton's version next.

This is the best waffle recipe and I've tried a lot! I was out of cornstarch, so I used more flour but it still turned out light and crispy. My waffle recipe search is over.

I have tried many waffle recipes and this one gets 5 stars. They were crispy on the outside and still had some substance on the inside, weren't soggy and were very flavourful. I was also a little bit surprised at the amount of cornstarch but remembered seeing in another review that it turned out fine and it did. I doubled the recipe and it was fine. Will definitely make these again...... probably next weekend :
