Steak was tender and the onions were great but I can't say anything good about the sauce/marinade. I won't make again.

We cut down the pepper to about half - we don't care for quite that much heat but this is one of our summer favorites!

I made this a few times for me and my husband and we think it's awesome. We are big fans of Big Daddy and so far I haven't been disappointed with any recipe I ever made of his. Keep up the great work!!

This recipe was easy and perfect for a summer party. I bought whatever thin steaks that were on sale and grilled them a few minutes on each side after marinating. Then I put the crockpot on low and put the steaks in there w/extra the extra bbq sauce. It was perfect! The meat was very tender and everyone raved about the barbeque sauce. I will definetely make it again!!

How is it that someone would leave a rating without even making the dish????

Usually when we cook, (most of the time the comments are WOW! This is great let me have the recipe. I made this recipe 7/14/09. No spice, I even kept the jalapeno seeds in. TOO MUCH BBQ sauce. The meat was tender. The idea was good - but......

tried this recipe out on ther bbq grill it was great but you might need to adjust your tempature when doing so in high humidity and adjust your cooking time as well to let the cude siloin to be tender but if in a hurry to eat it does work in a short cooking time as well but i will re try this recipe a agian somer other time and making sure i make all the adjust ments i need i sugest that in high humidity area's add i little more brickets so that you can cook a bit longer

i also might try useing my grill fry pan as well for those that dont know what is it is a pan that has holes in it and be userd on your bbq grill they can be found at home depot of walmart .

I could'nt wait to make this recipe. I purchased all of the ingredients but when I got home I noiticed that I had brought round steak instead of sirloin.. I used the round steak for country fried chicken and back to the store I went the next day to buy the sirloin steak. Just a note in my area the regular grocers do not carry tenderized sirloin so I had to go to a smaller specialized grocer.... Needlesss to say it was work it. The meat had wonderful flavor and was very tender. My whole family loved it.. I'll pull this recipe out during the next all family BBQ. Everyone will think I'm a chef. Thanks Big Daddy!!
