OMG,this dish was awesome. I don't know why I was surpised becasue everything Aaron cooks is so very flavorful. I made this dish for a potluck at work and everyone loved it. I made two variation of the cole slaw because I knew not everyone in my dept like spicy food, they both were awesome. This is a keeper!!!

The short ribs "fell off the bone", and was very savory and delicious. The cole slaw is the best I've ever had, I didn't add the jalapenos and it was just delicious. The cole slaw gave the sandwich a wonderful texture. The recipe was easy to follow and the ingredients were easy to find. You have to give this recipe a try, it will not disappoint.

Since I found this recipe, a little more than a month ago, I've made this four times. It is absolutely delicious! This last time I tried it with a Chuck Roast. Works just as good!

This was my first time making short ribs and my first time using a dutch oven. The short ribs DEFINITELY fall off the bone. They are sooooo tender. I didn't make the sandwiches but the ribs themselves. They were a hit with my famiy. Next time I will make the sandwiches, since so many reviews show the coleslaw is a hit. Thanks, Big Daddy!!

This is awesome. I've rooted for Aaron since "The Next Food Network Star." I HATE coleslaw.....let me repeat this....I HATE COLESLAW. However, the mixture of the slaw with the very tender beef is amazing. The topper is the sauce. OMG. It is amazing. I ended up drinking the leftover sauce; it's that good. Like I said, I HATE coleslaw. This was amazing. So good! I love the heat with the creaminess. I ended up eating the leftover slaw alone while drinking the sauce. i do wish I made more short ribs to go with my leftovers, but I wouldn't change one thing in this recipe. I will definately make this again and again.

Today is the 5th time I have made these sandwiches. My family has dubbed this recipe a keeper! Melt in your mouth tender beef and the cole slaw is out of this world. I added a tablespoon of horseradish which added another layer of flavor!
