I saw Aaron make this on TV, It looked easy and delicious, so I bought the Phyllo and can of apple pie filling(our stores only had 21 oz cans of pie fillingI already had some dried cranberries and walnuts so I substituted those for the raisins and pecans. I did end up melting a 2nd stick of butter while making them. they turned out to be as Delicious as I'd hoped! (although I feel it in my shoulders today, not used to all that painting of butter and rolling these little packages! I exercise frequently without a problem, make strudel = stiff back/shoulders! who would have thought? lol

I decided to try this dish b/c I had everything on hand (minus the raisins. It was quite tasty. My hubby enjoyed it although he burnt his mouth b/c he was so eager to try them. I will definitely make this again. Thanks Big Daddy!
