I agree with the other posters about too much salt and pepper. I did 1/2 tablespoon of both instead of a full tablespoon. I also did a 1/2 teaspoon of the nutmeg. My husband thought that the nutmeg dominated the dish when I used the full teaspoon called for in the recipe. So, now I just know to do only 1/2 of all 3.

I think the recipe is easy to follow. I've made it for parties and people LOVE it! The rolled out pie crust gives the dish a "this is a hard dish to make" look even though it's quite the opposite.

I agree with these other reviews...this was too salty...a pinch is all you need I'm sure...and definitely bake it at least 10 mins longer than as stated.

I made this Quiche for a family party and everyone loved it. I just cut the salt and pepper to 1/2 teaspoon and cooked it for 50 to 55 minutes as other reviews suggested. It came out perfect! I will definitely make this receipe again.

The quiche turned out perfect, with a few adjustments to the printed recipe. I cut the salt and pepper to a 1/2 tsp each and cooked it for 50 minutes. It came out perfect! I loved the flavor and will definitely make this quiche again!

I agree about the amount of salt. I had to toss it because of too much salt. I will try it again with one teaspoon.

Tried following directions exactly and 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon pepper was way too much. Maybe was misprinted and should be 1 teaspoon of salt.

I made this today for lunch, and used about 2 tsp. of salt. It was great, except still a little salty. I will use 1 tsp. next time. Otherwise, I enjoyed the combination of the other flavors! The crust was nice, even on the inside. Thanks for the tip to pre-cook it!

This recipe is great. I did add cauliflower in addition to the asparagus. I doubled the recipe and gave one of the pies to my neighbor. Great for breakfast with potatoes and orange juice and also great for dinner, especially after a long day with a nice crispy salad. Not expensive to make.
