Terrbily tempting, but I felt guilty eating this. So much sugar and with the bacon... although delighful, I felt regretful.

I have no idea how he came up with this amazing recipe! I made the pancake mix without chives, just vanilla, and made the icing from cream cheese, sugar, and 100% pure maple syrup! Then once I added the crushed bacon bits, I was in hevean!!!

I couldn't find Mascapone in the grocery store where I live, so I used a cream cheese frosting and it came out great. I really wasn't a fan of the pan cake part, didn't taste bad, but wasn't good either. It was lacking in flavor, def will be adding some cinnamon and nutmeg to the cake. I would have also put a tad more bacon drippings in the frosting, I wanted to be able to taste it. Overall, very easy to make and will be doing so again

If you like syrup, pancakes and bacon, all smushed together, then this is the cupcake for you!! I made minicupcakes out of them and they're delicious! The bacon crumbles on top definitely make a difference, don't skimp!

I need to try this, but I did not see him add bacon drippings to the icing. I will leave them out.

I added a little cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to the pancake batter and omitted the chives. Next time, I'll omit or add less of the bacon drippings as well--it made the frosting a tad too oily for my taste. Overall, its an easy and creative addition to a brunch.

We liked it but omitted the chives as well. Love Aaron's recipes & his shows. Very entertaining to watch cook.

We loved it without the chives in the cupcakes.
