I follolwed the recipe but the bacon was not as crisp as it should have. I had to cook the dogs a 2 more minutes. Otherwise it turned out good.

This recipe did not work for me. The bacon was not crisp after 10 minutes so I put it under the broiler. That only made all my cheese slide out. I put them in a skillet and kept turning them, but they never crisped like they should have. My dog was a little tough. I would try again maybe using a baking rack.

I should have read comments before cooking cause I bought thick cut bacon, but the comment of moving to top shelf and broiling to crisp bacon worked. Hot dogs didn't dry out luckily. I used the 1/4lbs Hebrew National ones. Turned out delicious though!

I made these the other night, they were delicious! The only thing I noticed was you need to use thin cut bacon, as thick just takes too long. Also I had a smoky kitchen. I would serve these to company.

Delicious. But wasn't that obvious. Anything wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheddar has got to be good.....OH, like others, I had to cook the bacon much longer than the recipe said. MUCH longer. Next time I will pre-cook the bacon too. It would be great if there was a healthier, less salty version of this recipe, since bacon and hot dogs can be really salty. But then again...when you're making this recipe, you're not thinking "I wanna eat healthy!" Kudos, Big Daddy.

I found this recipe and tried it right away. Easy to Make. I baked the hotdogs in the oven for 10 mins, then move them to the top rack and brioled them for 2mins. Bacon was extra crispy, cheese nice and goooy...Looked great..
The taste wass delicious!! I would take this over a bacon cheeseburger any day.
Guilty as Charged... Yummy!

These hot dogs looked so delicious on the show we were willing to try this obviously unhealthy item as a treat! I read the reviews, pre-cooked the bacon a bit and they were awful. They looked and smelled great but eating them made all of us feel sick. Too much grease!
