I truly loved this cobbler. The amounts of sugar seem excessive, but in a cobbler, it is supposed to have juice. A real hit with my family and I too want to see more of this cook. He is hard to find and I always enjoy his approaches to certain types of food. Let's see more of him!!!!!

I made this a few months back for my dad's birthday. Everyone loved it. One thing, if you love bread, I would recommend doubling the bread recipe part!!!

Oh my gosh, I loved this receipt. The first time that I made it was about 3mnths ago for boyfriend and I anniversary. He loved it so much he took the rest home. Then I've been making it for him ever since. I kept it the same, just doubled up on the topping because we like dough. But this receipt, I will use every time.

I followed the recipe pretty closely. I reduced the sugar in the fruit mixture by about 1/3 and it turned out perfectly sweet. Also added some blueberries to the fruit to use leftovers from the fridge. Turned out to be a great addition!

I followed this recipe and it turned out perfect the first time!!!! I did not cut the sugar...cobler is supposed to be sweet. For the second time I doubled the recipe for the topping but only used 3/4 of it and it turned out just as good as the first time. Everyone loved it and it was gone in seconds!

I made this cobbler for a 4th of July party. I used my favorite cobbler crust instead of the recipe crust. Upon the recommendation of other reviewers, I cut the sugar by 1/3, which I think in turn made my cobbler dry. Overall, the cobbler itself was ehh! I won't bother with it again. BUT! The gingered cream was to die for.
Fabulous. I will use this cream on peach cobbler, angel food cake, (I recently used it on strawberry short cake, and whatever else I can think of....plain dark chocolate cake, baked apples, creme brulee, bread pudding. Yum.

I made this for our family's 4th of July celebration and people were fighting over who would be the one to finish the cobbler. Someone actually stole the serving dish off the table and went into hiding to eat the last of it! Also made it as a welcome gift for our new neighbors. They called to say it was outstanding! I doubled the recipe for the cobbler topping, which required a longer cooking time, and did not make the ginger whipped cream. It's a keeper!
