My husband doesn?t like cobblers that don?t have the pie-like crust but he loved this recipe. The ginger whipped cream was a pleasant surprise. The cobbler is best served warm but was still good left over and served at room temperature the next day. The whipped cream was good the first day but better the second day. Since you cube the apples instead of slicing, preparation is very quick. Luckily the cold front moved through about the time I started cooking so it was true fall weather outside to go with a dish that embodies true fall flavors. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Hey, Sterna. Don't rate the recipe until you have tried it. This is better than apple pie. The whipped cream with ginger is wonderful

Scored some apples at the local farmers market yesterday and made this today. Very quick and easy to make and uses most things you would have on hand, except for the candy ginger, so I just added a little ground ginger to the whipped cream topping. WTG Aaron! Great recipe!

I saw the airing of Aaron's Fall recipes today and after watching the first 5 minutes I knew I wanted to make all 4 items. Today I tried the Apple Cobbler and let me tell you. I have tried to make cobblers in the past and gave up years ago. Aaron's recipe is phenomenal, its easy and taste so good. My family loved it. The aroma from this dish baking makes the house smell sooo good. The crust topping came out just like as if you rolled it the old fashion way. This crust topping will become my new crust staple for all cobblers. I emailed pics to my friends. This is definately a must try! enjoy
