It was terrible. I love blackened fish and tried this because I had all the spices it called for. All you could taste was the smoked paprika and cayenne. Neither my husband or I could eat it. It went in the garbage.

I'm not sure what I did wrong -- I only changed two things: 1 I used Spanish paprika instead of smoked paprika and 2 I used Sole fillet instead of Tilapia. Other than that I followed all measurements. The end product was too hot. I couldn't serve it to my family and it gave me hyperacidity. Good thing I have a brother who likes everything really spicy. Maybe my Spanish paprika was hot (there was no indication on the label and 3 tbsp was too much. I will try to make it again, but next time I'll taste the seasoning before I put it on the fish to test for level of spicy-ness.

This was really good. I definitely recommend the lemon juice at the end, dont skip it. Tasty meal and very very easy! Made with wild rice and sauteed veggies.

It was a very simple and easy recipe to use. I had to end up substituting some of the ingredients but they are so simple and common that they were easy to replace without sacrifice of flavor. My entire family ate it up and is begging for it for dinner tomorrow!

Love it. I didn't use the grape-seed oil or lemon but still loved it. It found a nice cozy spot in my recipe box.

YUM!!!! The blackening spice is on POINT! I used "Italian Seasoning" in lieu of the thyme and oregano. Perfect!
