  This was great. I hate drinking beer but I love cooking with it. All of my family loved the fish. This make me feel like I can hang with the best of cooks. I'm depending on you big daddy so keep up the good work. I got everbody thinking that i'm the best cook in town.

  This was excellent and more, so crispy and tasty, I'll be using this recipe for every fish I coat and fry. I just love the CRUNCH when you bite into it and Oh yeah....your tartar sauce was great with this, loved your cole slaw too! You really deserve all the compliments.I better stop now cause I could go on & on. Hey Big Daddy if you ever read these reviews...give us a sign OK? Anyway Thanks again for a great meal!!!

  This was an absolutely delicious way to make fried catfish! Everyone in my family loved it, especially my 3 year old daughter. We loved the flavor and the crispiness of the batter. It has quickly become a favorite!

  Loved the crispiness and loved the taste. A little salty. Next time I will definitely decrease the salt for the fish and for the batter and will try teaspoons of salt nstead of tablespoons.

  Good, but cut back on the salt!

  Even after using half the salt this recipe called for I think it was still a little on the salty side. Is it supposed to be teaspoons instead of tablespoons? The batter puffed up nicely and it was very good! I'll make this again, minus the excessive amounts of salt.

  Watched the episode and could'nt wait to try out the fritters and slaw. Came out great. Not a big fan of catfish, so used some snapper that we put on the grill. Keep up the great recipes and show.

  After watching the episode, I learned some great tips on how to fry catfish. The batter is awesome and crispy. The cornmeal really makes it great. I used quinoa flour to avoid gluten and it stilled turned out great. It is messy as all frying is but the seasoning and batter make the clean up worth it. The entire meal including the slaw was great. I highly recommend it.

  I watch Food Network whenever I could. Big Daddy's House is one of my favs. "Big Daddy" is fun to watch, not boring. I have most of his recipes including this fish recipe. Way to go, "Big Daddy."

  Aaron, there's every reason why your recipes garner Five Stars, you know the natural chemistry of cooking. A dearly departed friend and former neighbor of mine, was a master chef, and taught me how to really cook, by both preparing a dish, periodically for my female guest and I, at my home. His wife, would cmment, how she got a different meal, every night, by her husband. WoW! Back to "Big Daddy"- He instinctively knows, just as my neighbor Gene, understands the chemistry of combining various elements, (ingredients), in a recipe. Thanks, "Big Daddy", you're the man!
