Never again will I open another can of manwich/sandwich, and although I added some paste with a little water it was the best sloppy Joe I have ever eaten, thumps up from my husband too. I think next time I will add come diced tomatoes...hummmm. Keep up the good work, God Bless.

I made this recipe a few months ago. Didn't have tenderloin, just used hamburger--it was still so delicious! Everybody enjoyed it, so I'm planning to make more for tomorrow's football tailgate. Skip the canned stuff--this is so simple yet yummy! Thanks, Big Daddy--you score again!

Very good recipe. I substituted flank steak for tenderloin. Very tender and a cheaper alternative. I added 2 steps.. browned meat and deglazed the plan using a bit of red wine... added ketchup. Yummy...I love this grown up version of a sloppy joe!

I've had my eye on this recipe for awhile and finally made this recipe tonight. This was a very simple recipe. I've never used tenderloin, but the tenderness of the meat was amazing. If you can afford it, definitely use it for this recipe!! The sauce was very runny, so I thickened it up with some corn starch. I was a little disappointed with the finished product only because it looked so unappetizing-- BUT it tasted absolutely amazing!! I plan to make this recipe again next week for a dinner/movie party. :-

This is the most unusual Sloppy Joe recipe I've ever seen,
but it just looked so tempting on the program that I decided to give it a try. My husband is finicky, but he LOVED this!

It's not going to be an 'everyday' dish, as beef tenderloin is
pricy, but the 'wow factor' is certainly there for a special occasion! A keeper for sure! Many thanks, Aaron!
(When my supermarket butcher cut the 1 lb. of beef t-loin
to order, he asked me what I would be doing with it; when
I told him it would be diced up for Sloppy Joe's, he just went slack-jawed!
