Great recipe, but my husband walked in while I was preparing it and asked where the sauce (tomatoe sauce was... So I added a small can of tomato paste, and filled the can with water and added to the mixture Also added 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder. This made the "sloppy joe" my husband related to and became a new recipe that he now adores.

I also doubled the onion, green pepper and garlic portions...we live in Arizona so like our sloppy joes a bit seasoned.

Wonderful recipe! Next time I'll double the recipe so we have leftovers! It made just enough for my husband and me.

My husband and I enjoyed this recipe very easy to make and full of flavor. If you want to thicken up your sauce, you can put dissolve a little cornstarch in cold water and add about a teaspoon to the sauce. It will coat the meat better. I love this show.

I never really liked regular sloppy joes, but Aaron made these look so good I had to try it. Damn, this was good! The flavor was so over the top! I used maple syrup (didn't have brown sugar, and I also added the onion and bell pepper earlier in the recipe to soften them. My only problem was I wanted more sauce! You won't be disappointed with this recipe.

This is my new favorite recipe. The only thing I did differently was added the onion and green pepper earlier with the beef in order for them to cook a little more and soften up. Otherwise it's fantastic!

WOW!!!! I just made this for dinner tonight. It was quick and very easy. My husband and son do not like to try "new" flavors and I just kind of snuck this in on them, but they absolutely loved this. No more can stuff here. I will definately make this again. This would also be great as little sliders.

This was the first time I made sloppy joe from scratch and I was skeptical at first, because we are used to that can stuff and I wasn't sure how this would turn out. But after watching Aaron making and eating it on Food Network, I figured it just looked to good to pass up. (Side bar: He can definitely sell you on some food and a recipe that's for sure- smile Anyway, I made this tonight and it is a WINNER indeed. We will definitely me making this again and again! Thanks!!

I prepared all ingredients ahead of time, once prep was done was easy. Very flavor full. Had a nice kick to it. A nice change. My husband said it was even good reheated. Left him wanting more the next day.

Would probably make a larger batch next time. we did not have a scale so we used two good size fillets.

Also would serve over brown rice with a salad

Thought of trying it with Chicken and using barbecue sauce instead of A1.

My family couldn't get enough of this. This is the first time I have ever commented on anything and I just had to for this recipe. Thanks Big Daddy!

Substituted round steak for the tenderloin, added 1 teaspoon of Terriaki sauce and used the rest of your receipe. My husband was extremely pleased with a new version of Sloppy Joes!
