All I can say is WOW!!!!! I was looking for something new to do with salmon, and I have to say this was a wonderful choice. My family and I absolutely LOVED everything abaout this recipe, it didn't require everything in the grocery store, it was easy to prepare, and didn't take hours to cook. I have never had bleu cheese, and this was definitely the perfect introduction. Looking forward to using this recipe again!

Since I don't actually eat seafood, I decided to try this recipe substituting chicken in place of the salmon, and it was fantastic. My husband and I LOVED it, and we will be making this again for sure. I served it with a broccoli casserole which also contained blue cheese. Delicious!

I will always cook salmon this way, it came out perfect. I used 1 Tablespoon of Salt instead of 2. My fiance', who generally doesn't like blackened fish, thought it was great.

This was a very good recipe. The salmon was cooked perfectly, I mean perfectly; crisp at the end and warm and moist throughout. I've been on a blue cheese kick lately, just had smothered pork chops and blue cheese. This was excellent. I would say that after making your blue cheese mixture, wait a few minutes for it to thicken before adding to your salmon; I noticed the mixture thickened up as I was putting it away. Also the blackened seasoning and the blue cheese mixture seem to make about enough for 8-10 pieces of salmon, so if you're just using 4, you will have leftovers.

Excellant. I agree with the other posts - a bit salty. I used one tablespoon (instead of two and still a bit salty (I used kosher salt. Had the salmon with roasted veggies ~ next time I'll have it on a ceaser salad!

The recipe was good, however it was a bit too salty. Next time I would reduce the salt by half.

I made this last night along with Ina Garten's roasted asparagus. What a hit! A great weekday meal that was ready in minutes. I found it a tad salty but I know that's the risk you run with blackened food. Will definitely be making this again ...
